General Officers in the Canadian Forces have in the past and still do travel in vehicles with their own flag. The RCAC perhaps a little less formally also has had staff car flags, though quite rare.

Vehicle Flags

Colonel Commandant's vehicle banner 1965. This banner was used for the first Colonel Commandant of the Royal Canadian Army Cadets, MGen Norman Elliot Rodger CBE CD. This amazing staff car flag is the only one of it's kind from the period, it traveled with the Colonel Commandant through out his tenure from 1965 to 1970 usually affixed to the front of his staff car at parades. 6" high by 9 inches long. (Army Cadet League Collection, now in the Vernon Museum (Vernon, BC))

A later vehicle banner ca.1970s (Army Cadet League Collection, now in the Vernon Museum (Vernon, BC))
