Capt Jim C.K. Adams 


Joined Corps on Sept. 1, 1960 as Administration Officer.

Assumed command and promoted Acting Captain when Capt. P.G. Willmott left to take command of Signals Cadet Corps in Ladner B.C. on May 24, 1963.

Completed requirements for Chief Instructors Certificate and was confirmed Captain on Oct. 11, 1966.

Founding member of the Calgary Tri Services Cadet Tattoo and served as Army Cadet Advisor, writing and directing the Army Cadet portion of the programme from 1967 until 1972.

1292 won the R.B. Bennett Sheild, awarded to the top corps in the Province, twice. In 1970 when affiliated with the Fort Garry Horse and again in 1971 after rebadging to be affiliated with the Lord Strathcona's Horse Horse.
