As I was being possessed out of
in Vietnam Saigon, I had the opportunity to watch the Bob Hope USO show and have Christmas dinner with him.
After I got out of the Army the political situation was very much against the US Army and its Veterans. As many Vets were getting out, jobs were hard to get. I came back to
and got a job in Canada , in the field that I was in before entering the Army. Calgary
My cousin was in the LdSH and told me that the Cadet Corps needed a Range Officer. I then joined the Corps and went through all the positions, but my favorite was the Supply Officer under Captains Hanner, Jessen, and Hampson. We had a very successful corps and I enjoyed it very much.
In 1985 I married Angela and we had 3 children.
In 1987 we moved to
and in 1988 I joined the Airborne Cadets St. Albert
In 1989 I took over command till 1990
After my divorce, I moved back to
and got back into the American Legion and became the Post Commander and the District Commander Calgary
