A/CAPTAIN M.J. CRABBE, CD


A/Captain MJ. Crabbe was born in Victoria, British Columbia, and commenced
his military career with Cadets in Duncan, B.C. He progressed to the Militia, Canadian
Scottish, and entered the Regular Force in 1956 with the Royal Canadian Corp of
Signals in Kingston, Ontario, later transferring to the Transportation Trade in Kingston
and then later in Calgary with 1 Service Battalion.
He has served in NWE (7 years) and the Middle East (1 year). A number of the
units he has served with have been:

Retiring from the Regular Force on 05 December 1979.
He has been associated with the 1955 Calgary Service Battalion Cadet Corps
since February 1977 in Training Assistance.
He is presently employed with Prudential Steel Ltd. responsible for Yard Maintenance
Operator Training and Yard Safety at the Ogden Plant
