#72 Cadet Corps

Capt Simson, Commanding Officer of the 72 Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Royal Canadian Army Cadets Corps, receives the 90th Anniversary Certificate from the Honorary Lieutenant Colonel (LCol) Al Baylis of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada.

The presentation of the Army Cadet League of Canada Commemorative Scroll was made on the January 8th to Honorary LCol Baylis by the Zone Chairman of the BC Branch of the Army Cadet League of Canada, LCol (Ret'd) Keith Freer. Hon LCol Baylis, representing the Sponsor, then passed it on to the CO and Corps to be prominently displayed in the Corps' headquarters. The 41 Army Cadets on parade for this ceremony represent a long tradition of excellence and affiliation. As they are affiliated to and sponsored by the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada, they wear the kilt and share the traditions of the Seaforths with great pride.

72 RCACC was formed in 1912 and were officially declared a Cadet Corps in 1913.
