History -   

The number 613 was originally assigned to a corps in Winnipeg, Manitoba, formed in 1915, and disbanded in 1924.

This Corps was formed 1 Mar 77 and designated the 613 Fonthill Royal Regiment Cadet Corps. It affiliated with the Royal Regiment of Canada. Its sponsor was the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 613, Fonthill, which is the reason the number 613 was requested for the corps.
