Biography

Dennis Fleck

 

Dennis Fleck served with the Royal Canadian Army Cadets from 1953 to 1959 with 1809 Loyal Edmonton Regiment Cadet Corps, Edmonton, Alberta. Following his Army Cadet career, he served from 1957 to 1968 with the Loyal Edmonton Regiment (Militia), attaining the rank of MWO II. He received the Canadian Centennial Medal for military service in 1967 and the Commemorative Medal for the 125th Anniversary of Canada in 1993.

From 1981 to 1984 he served as Vice-President Northern Zone of the Army Cadet League of Canada (Alberta), subsequently becoming the President of the Alberta Branch from 1984-1986. Becoming Vice-President Prairies on the National Executive of the Army Cadet League of Canada in 1988, he also became Senior Vice-President in 1990 and was President of the League from May 3nd, 1992 to May 1st, 1994.

Mr. Fleck is involved in several community service organizations which include the United Service Institute (Edmonton), the Sir Winston Churchill Society, the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, and the Edmonton Masonic Shrine (also Drum Major with the Shrine Band). He is currently employed as a Sales Agent with REMAX Real Estate.
