 Jack Frederick VILLIERS, Lieutenant Colonel (British Army) TK-96144

Enrolled with the Singapore Territorial Force as a Private in August 1924 and reached the rank of Sergeant by August 1930 when he transferred to the Burma Territorial Force. He progressed to the rank of Captain and transferred to British Army (Burma Regiment) in December 1941. In October 1942 he transferred to the General Headquarters India where he served until February 1948. Lieutenant Colonel Villiers joined the Supplementary Reserve, Royal Canadian Infantry Corps as a Lieutenant Colonel 22 November 1949 and at that time his medal entitlement showed B.M., 1939-45 Star, Burma Star, Defence Medal, War Medal and Efficiency Decoration (ED). He was called-out for duty as Commander for Vernon Trades and Cadet Camp for the period 3 July 1950 to 14 August 1950. Released from the Supplementary Reserve (RCIC) in September 1966.
