History -   

 The Corps was formed 6 Apr 49 and known as 2347 Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada. affil.: The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (PL's), Apr 6, 1949. It is affiliated and sponsored by the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada (Princess Louise) RCIC.

The Corps was originated in the year 1949.
The first Commanding Officer, Capt. W. Moffat, was assigned from the Royal Canadian Army Cadet organization, the number 2347. This number was officially assigned to The Argyll and Sutherland Cadet Corps of Hamilton. 
After retiring the Corps first flag, the present flag of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada (Princess Louise’s) 2347 RC(Army) CC, was dedicated to the Cadet Corps, on the 8th of April 1984 at the first ceremony of “Trooping the Colours” in the presence of his Worship Mayor Bob Morrow of the city of Hamilton.
The Commanding Officer for this ceremonial parade was Captain F.W. Mills CD.
The Corps remains closely affiliated to the regiment, The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada (Princess Louise’s). Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, holds the appointment as Colonel in Chief to the Regiment.
